Donut & Vitamin Packaging

Donut Packaging Scamps

I chose to design the packaging for Bread Ahead. Their existing packaging is weak and not enticing. It doesn’t make the consumer want to have what is inside. It just serves its purpose to transport donuts, the aim of engaging with the consumer is lost and left at the counter.

The touch element is brought back by adding shape instead of a box the hands are accustomed to. The holes on the side of the packaging also give the consumer a choice of inserting their fingers or not and carrying the box in that way. They also serve as a way to tempt the consumer because they’ll also be touching the donuts in a subtle way. The openings on the packaging appeal to the smell sense because the donut smell will come through them. The donut illustration at the top of the box has places where you can see through the transparent plastic and the sides have the same.

  1. I have to say that is the oddest combination of things: vitamin packaging and donut packaging. But hey, if it works for you. Looks good to me.
